�We ask for change when the person has not performed�but there are some who feels there should be a change so that new energy will come in�nonetheless, I will do whatever it takes for NDC to retain power because if we don�t and we lose the elections, it will take a very long time before we can get it back� said former National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan lost his seat to Kofi Adams, spokesperson of former President Jerry John Rawlings at the just ended National Delegates Congress of the party. Kofi Adams polled 2,543 votes while the incumbent, Yaw Boateng Gyan polled 734 votes. Yaw Boateng Gyan on his defeat in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Monday�s edition of �Kokrokoo� said he does not understand why the delegates changed the team that worked so hard to bring victory to the NDC.
