Photos: Hon. Julius Debrah Tours Ashanti Region To Inspect Onging Projects

Christmas breaks come early for some but certainly not for a hard working minister like Hon. Julius Debrah and his two deputies. The Local Government Minister is currently in the Ashanti Region touring various districts and municipalities. He was also hosted by the Omanhene of Agona Traditional Council, Nana Kofi Anokye Frimpong, where issues about bringing massive development and improving sanitation in the area were discussed. At the Sekyere South area, Hon. Julius Debrah was ably assisted by the Hon. Edward Ayarkwa, who is the District Chief Executive for the area. Together with him, the Local Government Minister had the chance to inspect the ongoing construction of a big conference building and a 6.7kg road which stretches from Wiamoase to Kototuasua. Hon. Julius Debrah also visited a site where the construction of a water project is underway. He seized the opportunity there to interact with some staff of the assembly and called for cooperation amongst them. A deputy to the minister, Hon. Emmanuel Agyekum was also at the Ahafo Ano South district to prioritize sanitation issues. He tasked all MMDAs to ensure sanitation is improved to bring about development. The deputy minister cautioned galamsey operators at the Nyame Ye Adom in the Ashanti Region to stop the practice. From his findings, the illegal operators have destroyed water bodies in the area and this has lead to the environmental pollution in the Ahafo Ano South enclave. Checkout some of the places Hon.
