Manasseh Has Not Been Fair To Me - Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah

Former Sports Minister, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah is very upset with former Journalist of the year, Manasseh Azure-Awuni with his publications that he received kickbacks during Ghanas 2014 World Cup preparations to Brazil. Manasseh has not been fair to me, he fumed. His dissatisfaction follow revelations in the JOY NEWS investigative report by Manasseh Azure-Awuni that one hundred thousand cedis was paid to Elvis Afriyie Ankrah as production cost by E-volution, a company that won a 1 million cedis contract to provide service during the 2014 World Cup. The former Minister has denied the claim but many are of a view that it is time for the President to demonstrate that the World Cup Commission was not a smokescreen to cover up alleged acts of corruption by his right hand men. However, speaking on JOY FM, Mr. Afriyie-Ankrah insisted that I haven't received any money. I don't know who is making these stories up I don't know which mallams or soothsayers are deceiving who but please leave me alone. In the past, GNPC did fan parks with E-Volution so it was easier for them to continue the partnership for the World Cup, he opined. Adding that, I am ready any day to make my accounts available to parliament or EOCO to see if I have received such monies. I consistently publicly said if anybody had any evidence of wrongdoing of me, they should bring it to the Commission. They were saying "crucify Elvis" but there was nothing to accuse me of.
