Drivers Urged To Be Vigilant On The Road

Mr Alexander Kwasi Amponsah, a Techiman-based businessman has advised drivers to be vigilant and observe road traffic regulations during the Yuletide to reduce road crashes. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Techiman, Mr. Amponsah urged the Secretariats of the GPRTU, PROTOA and other road transport unions to instil discipline among the drivers especially those who park at unauthorized places and refuse to observe traffic regulations. He advised the drivers to ensure they acquired the necessary documents to avoid penalties and harassment from law enforcement agencies. Mr Amponsah urged the transport unions to organize periodic training programmes for the drivers to update them on modern driving to save lives.
