Lies, Lies to Videotape

As we step into the penultimate year to the 2016 never-before-more-important elections, one could look around and reminisce over all the things that ought to have been captured in picture and sound for playback for visionary introspection. I want to believe clips abound of episodes in election stealing as was filmed in 2009 and that they would be handy in educating election monitors in 2016. More clips should, however, have been available on the create, loot and share ways of a thieving congress administration. Its not easy determining the effect of media content. Still, I have no doubt that when the late V-Ps clip was played in 1996 thus: ɔsono, ɔyɛaboa bɔn, it somehow negatively affected his credibility as a leader to be voted for. Lies For Existence These times of congress dependence on lies for existence, survival and prosperity, as the rest of us wallow in a dreary sakora Christmas, videotaping the words and actions of congress people should serve the motherland well. It will expose congress lying to cheat and cheating by deceitful practices. Lies corrupt; regular lying corrupts extensively. That is why by choosing to operate on lies congress has launched itself into corruption in every aspect of its operations. Questions What if overspending three hundred million Ghana cedis by those tasked to handle disaster could be, and was videotaped? Or what if overspending at the chief drivers office while not honouring statutory payments could be videotaped and has a videotape? And what if children with disability denied schooling, despite the overspending, could be videotaped and was videotaped? What if little boys and girls insulting a president of the stature of H.E. Mr John Agyekum Kufuor were rewarded with ministerial and ambassadorial positions with which they have been stealing the motherlands money, was videotaped to be played for all to see? And what if that stolen money was used to bribe and corrupt an electoral system to become MPs was videotaped? And what if propaganda secretaries-tuned-communicators stole the motherlands money to corrupt an electoral system to become MPs and ministers? What if videotapes existed that incontrovertibly link the mansions behind Trade Fair, East Legon, Ajiriganor, Oyarifa and all over the motherland to their congress thieves? Ownership Of Properties It will be lovely to have a video of sight and sound with such words: See this filling station; it was built post-2009. It is owned by congressperson . Lets talk to the attendant Or: You know the owner of this water tanker, it belongs to at the presidency. Priceless will be a video recording playback of a minister of state propaganda secretary hopping on a plane every Thursday to return Monday using the motherlands paid-for time and our money for schooling as a presider looks on askance. It will open my compatriots eyes to the insult of corruption. Imagine the appointed unqualified minions and their houses and stolen public money, mocking the motherland, in film for my compatriots to see. Insurance Premium, Etc What if the mouth that said one-time health insurance premium; petrol price will be drastically reduced; two hundred brand new senior high schools; total elimination of schools under trees; one brand new college of education for each region; bla, bla, bla, were all on videotape for my compatriots viewing displeasure? If everyone, all my compatriots, could see on a screen in motion an executive overspending their money on frivolities while denying vulnerable children, including those with disabilities, education by not just underfunding but cease funding their education, there would be voting decision making that would help the motherland. A Ghanaians Better Off? I yearn for a videotape of the state of our roads on January 7, 2009; and one for N (Nsawam/Nkawkaw) bypasses, and one for the Suhum overpass, and planes taking off from the Kumasi airport at night, my compatriots job or jobless situation and the hopes and aspirations of the young, not-so-young and old, children, women and men, all on film with sound on that day. Such videotapes would help provide easy answers to whether each and every one of us is better off today with their overall living conditions than on January 9, 2009. Libation Thank you, Brother Ivor, Comrade Ivor. Thank you CPP for saying it as it is. Let anyone who does not want to be called thief stop thieving and repent from telling lies. Comrade, dont worry. I have poured libation asking that that mouth that said elevation fumbles before it shuts. Congress distastefully embarrassed and scandalised the motherland with World Cup failure in USD3million airlift and asylum seeking. Looking ahead, we must search for 2016 answers to videotaping any election malpractice; stop lies to ensure that my vote for Akufo-Addo will be counted for Akufo-Addo; that each and every one of my compatriots votes will be counted for the one each vote is thumb-printed for.
