LONDON: Cocaine Lady Nayele's "Family Member" Attacks Peace FM Reporter...Seizes NotePad (AUDIO)

Drama unfolded within the corridors of the Isleworth Crown Court, London, UK, when young lady claiming to be related to beleaguered Nayele Ametefeh, the woman at the centre of the cocaine saga who was sentenced to an 8yr jail-term on Tuesday, took the law into her own hands and attacked Peacefmonline.com's accredited correspondent covering the trial. The lady who claims to be the convicted drug courier's family member, was obviously unenthused that a Ghanaian journalist was feeding her audience back home with water mouthing news which has dented Ghanas image and verbally attacked PeaceFM and Peacefmonline.com's Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, whiles the latter was busily filing a report of the day's proceedings. Prior to the hearing of the case on Tuesday, the Isleworth Crown Court issued tickets for entry into the court premises. The action by the court, according to Peacefm's Adutwumwaa Boateng, was as a result of the huge public interest expressed in the matter by the Ghanaian community in the UK. Moments after the sentence was pronounced, the clearly outrage lady, who perhaps could not understand the unbridled huge interest back home in Ghana and in the UK in Ruby's case, in a fit of uncontrolled anger, snatched and confiscated Peacefm's correspondents' notepad in which she had written down her points for the report. She shamelessly interrupted the live report saying, you have no right to do that on radio and further tried to physically assault the journalist. She was then heard clearly in the background, questioning the reporter's and the station's interest in the trial whiles Vida demanded her notebook back. "I am a staff of PeaceFM and an accredited reporter so i demand you give me back my notebook....on whose authority have you seized my notebook?" Vida Adutwumwaa quizzed. "I'm a relative of Ruby....why this interest in the trial? Is she the only Ghanaian nabbed for this offence in the UK?..do you want a name? I can give you a name...you have no right to do that (report on radio)," Ruby's relative shot back. Despite her efforts, she could not curtail the live radio report, as some members of the crowd who thronged the court premises, jumped to the defence of the journalist and hooted at her action.
