A mother stole her daughter's �20,000 inheritance after persuading her that she would keep her bank card and pin safe in the attic, a court heard.
Trusting bride-to-be Denvar Bathie, 23, had wanted to save the money for her forthcoming wedding and was convinced to hand the card over after her mother warned 'you'll spend it.'
Over a year long period Trudy Collins, 44, used her daughter's account on 173 occasions and spent �20,000 funding her luxury lifestyle, including splashing out on holidays, shopping trips, hotel bills and visits to the cinema and hairdressers.
