Trio Abanga, Gnagne, Owusu Bempah Set To Get Pay Rise At Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak are set to increase the salaries of three players ahead of the new season. Ghanasportsonline.com�s reliable sources at the Club have revealed. General Captain Kofi Abanga, team captain Robin Gnagne and his assistant Joseph Owusu Bempah are all set to have their salaries increased ahead of the 2014/15 season. Although Ghanasportsonline.com�s sources at the club did not disclose the amount each player is set to receive, the three are reported to have a 50% pay rise before the season kicks starts. The trio were appointed the various captains in the team due to their commitment and consistency at the Club for the past three-four seasons. General captain Kofi Abanga remains the most senior player in the squad having joined the Rainbow Club in 2008 from Aduana Stars. Whiles team captain Robin Gnagne joined the club during the reign of former coach CK Akornnor. Joseph Owusu Bempeh however joined the Club from fellow Premier League side New Edubiase United in 2012 and has since remained one of the brightest spots at the Club. The package for the trio will ultimately serve as a boost for them ahead of the new Premier League season.
