Her action will deter teenage victim like her from reporting crime she bemoaned. Madam Esther Tawiah maintained that the victim should have followed the matter to its logical conclusion. On the contrary, Clinical psychologist, Dr Annie Gaisie believes the action taken by the victim is a step in the right direction. She indicated that given the trauma the 19-year-old has been subjected to the media, continuing the case would have been destroyed her ego. Dr. Gaisie said the public backlash after withdrawing the case is expected thus prescribed counseling for Ewuraeffe during this serious traumatic experience. The clinical psychologist also urged KKD to also seek psychological help to regain his confidence. She advised the ace broadcaster to put the humiliation behind him and rebuild his life.
