Andre Ayew will lead the Blacks Stars team against the Taranga Lions of Senegal in their crucial Group C opener at the Mongomo Stadium today at 4:00pm local time. Captain Asamoah Gyan will miss the game after the talisman was diagnosed with a mild bout of malaria ahead of the team�s opener. Ghana coach Avram Grant deploy a 3-4-2-1 formation against the well-organised Terranga Lions team. Awal Mohammed, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Amartey will play as centre backs while Baba Rahman and Harrison Afful will operate as left and right wing-backs respectively. Agyemang Badu and Rabiu Mohammed will protect the Black Stars defence in a two-man pivot. Jordan Ayew will lead the line for Ghana and will be ably supported by Christian Atsu and Andre Ayew.
