'I'll Be Surprised If The Black Stars Win Even One Match' - Fred Agbenyo

I will be surprised if the Black Stars win even one match. I wish they win but I dont have any hope in them said Fred Agbenyo, a communication team member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). The Black Stars made their Group C debut at the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea but lost 1-2 to Senegal in Mongomo. The loss has angered several Ghanaians and football fans even though majority of them were not hopeful the team would put up a brilliant performance. Analyzing the teams performance on Tuesdays edition of Kokrokoo, Fred Agbenyo said it will take a miracle for the Stars to win a game. Analysing the 90 minute game, I will say that our team played for just 15 minutes, the rest of the time was just running back and forth. I was not too sure of the formation... It is going to take a miracle for us to win even one match in this tournament; I will be really surprised. It is my prayer that they excel in this tournament but I dont have hope in them. One would have thought after what happened in Brazil, they would have shown some form of remorse but they did not. Some even said they were not philanthropists to do things for free and Ghanaians were not happy with that. Since then the support Ghanaians would have given the Black Stars have reduced, he intimated.
