Caroline Cartwright of Tyne and Wear, England, was arrested for having loud sex after scores of complaints from irate neighbours took the issue up with police.
Police explains that the arrest was on a technical note because last year, after community complaints about her loud noise during sex, Cartwright was served with an anti-social behaviour order, which is a restraining order forbidding her from making �excessive� noise during sex.
More complaints this year imply that she had refused to comply.
Faced with 12 weeks in jail she said: �I don�t see why I should stop having sex in my own house with my husband of 38 years.�
