SIM Box Saga: Dr. Alex Tweneboah Is Not A Member Of #Occupyghana � IMANI Boss
Leading member of #Occupyghana [Pressure group], Franklin Cudjoe has debunk claims that Dr. Alex Tweneboah who is under arrest for SIM box fraud is a member of the group.
He stated categorically that, the Dr. Tweneboah “has not been and is not a member of OccupyGhana” after urging the public to treat the allegation as fallacious.
An anti-fraud partnership with the security agencies and telecom service providers in the country led to the arrest of some persons involved in a SIM Box fraud syndicate in Ghana.
The suspects includes the former President of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association, (GREDA) Dr. Alex Tweneboah.
Dr. Alex is believed to be the masterminded of the crime which many have described dangerous misconduct to the state.
He was however alleged to be a prominent member of the pressure group [#Occupyghana] which aimed at keeping government on its toes. But the IMANI boss, Franklin has denied Dr. Alex Tweneboah membership to group in a statement.

The attention of OccupyGhana has been drawn to a rumour orchestrated and perpetrated by persons associated with and sympathetic to the current government that one Dr. Alex Tweneboah, said to be the ex-boss of Ghana Real Estate Development Association and currently at the centre of investigations into sim box fraud, is a member of OccupyGhana. Some have gone as far as to name members of OccupyGhana as having been arrested on the matter.
This is false. Dr. Alex Tweneboah has not been and is not a member of OccupyGhana. None of our members is even remotely connected to the investigations in any capacity, whether private or professional. OccupyGhana states that it is in full support of all legitimate actions to arrest and prosecute all criminals for various offences.
OccupyGhana is a political, non-partisan movement that accommodates persons of all good faiths, economic and professional backgrounds.
OccupyGhana remains focused on its core objectives of holding governments accountable and keeping the citizenry engaged.
