Sammy Kuffuor Chases Nigerian Barber With Chair After Ghana Win

Legendary Ghana defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour, chased the Nigerian barber brought in by Supersports to shave him for swearing on television that he will shave his hair if South Africa beat the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

With Bafana Bafana leading the Black Stars 1-0 by the 73rd minute, hopes were high among South Africans working at SuperSport that Kuffuor will have all his hair shaved off.

However, two goals in 10 minutes by John Boye and Andre Ayew turned matters round and saved Kuffuor.

In response to the winner by Andre Ayew, Kuffuor lifted his chair and chased the Nigerian barber who run for his life creating more humour in the studio in Johannesburg while the defeated South Africans looked on following this disappointment in defeat.

“If Bafana [Bafana] defeats Ghana [tomorrow], I will shave my hair off LIVE on Television!!,” he tweeted.

Kuffuor is known to cherish his beard and hair.
