Prez Mahama Shouldn't Let Taxpayer's Monies Go Waste...Turn Things Around Or Else Fire Burn Him!!! - Songo

Patrick Osei Agyemang, affectionately called Countryman Songo has implored President John Dramani Mahama to quickly resolve the crippling power crises in the country.

Speaking on Peace FM's Morning Show "Kokrokoo", Countryman Songo expressed worry over the erratic power supply to communities in the nation, under the Mahama regime.

The outspoken Sports Presenter, who appeared disillusioned with the Mahama administration, told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the president could have redeem himself and remedy the situation if he built a network of contacts to fall on in these critical times to help solve the energy challenges.

According to him, President John Mahama should "turn things around" for Ghanaians or otherwise, "fire burn him."

Fire burn him in a professional way…He should show something. As I know him to turn things around; he should turn things around," the Sports Analyst stressed.

Osei-Agyemang also lamented over the "bad names" that the President appears to have earned from Ghanaians due to his uninspiring leadership and his administration's failures to relieve the citizenry from the problems facing them.

I don’t want him to be given bad names and tagged as this or that...he is always being blamed for something and that’s why Ayariga [Sports Minister] is hiding under...by also misbehaving towards Ghanaians. Fire Burn Him. So, President John Mahama; more fire! We support your Better Ghana Agenda, but you need to build contacts. What kind of president is this...not living up to expectations," he added.

He appealed to President Mahama to keep an eye on his appointee at the Sports Ministry, Mahama Ayariga.

...his (Ayariga's) behaviour is tarnishing his (Prez Mahama's) image. It’s dismeaning the presidency...as a president you should get some skills…You have to build a network of contacts, links. He travels at the expense of the taxpayer, so I expect the President John Mahama to up his government in order to do more better Ghana Agenda,” Songo admonished.
