President Mahama Must Sack Kojo Bonsu NOW!!!

We Asanteman Progress Unit, have observed that the actions of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly boss, Mr Kojo Bonsu is gradually putting the name of Kumasi to shame.

Any corrupt allegations in KMA cannot be mentioned without Mr. Kojo Bonsu.

There was a recent press release by a so called NDC pressure group that tagged Mr. Kojo Bonsu and some NDC top officials in Ashanti region as being corrupt and since now, the KMA boss has not vindicated himself.

This goes to buttress the point made by some members of the assembly who had wanted to pass vote of "no confidence" in him because of his corrupt practices he was exhibiting.

Kojo Bonsu is also seen as arrogant and disrespectful. He showed this attitude when Hon. Ofosu Ampofo came for a local government workshop last year. He used unprintable descriptions on Mr. Ampofo who serves as a KMA presiding member.

The current KMA boss made matters worse by flouting the authority of his royal majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II. The king assigned him during last year's Akwasidae celebration to help solve the misunderstanding between the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Benard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a ‘Wontumi’ and Ibrahim Mahama.

But it has emerged that the KMA boss abandoned his role and rather added fuel to the flaming issue. He is responsible for advising Ibrahim Mahama not to smoke the peace pipe with ‘Wontumi’ and ill advised him to continue pursuing the case in court; although peace could be brokered.

He was seen holding the tape alleged to contain ‘Wontumi's’ words of defamation against Ibrahim and this same tape was tendered in as evidence at the last court hearing.

In the video which captures President Mahama and the Ashanti King dancing to the ‘yentie obiaa’ song, Kojo Bonso is clearly seen capturing the event with his phone.

The BNI must invite him and investigate the role he played in the leaked tape; he is gradually becoming a nuisance to the Asanteman progress and must be unseated immediately.
