Ghana’s Avram Grant supposed lucky blue t-shirt has been a subject trending on various social media network since the commencement of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

The Black Starts coach after losing his opener of the tournament to Senegal adopted his now famous blue striped polo T-shirt.

Ghana coach Avram Grant has revealed he keeps wearing the same blue top because it brings the Black Stars luck in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Since the Israeli manager’s introduction of his alleged lucky shirt, the Black Stars have gradually progressed to the final of the tournament with some amazing wins and hoping to win the trophy when they come face to face with Ivory Coast on Sunday.

However, Avram Grant’s love for this particular shirt has taken another twist as some politicians are beseeching the Israeli to hand over the “same” shirt to President John Dramni Mahama after the tournament.

According to the Former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Emmanuel Attafuah-Danso only Avram’s wonder polo shirt can save President Mahama’s presidency in the 2016 elections.

He explained to Peacefmonline.com that, the NDC Mahama-led administration has inflicted pains on the citizenry with the ongoing frustrating power crisis which is yet to be resolved.

Emmanuel Attafuah-Danso noted that, Ghanaians are now fed-up with the President and are bent on “dropping him” come 2016.

“For God's sake, this Mahama-led administration has done a lot of harm to Ghanaians, at least show some respect and decorum to the fact that people are dying out of this dumsor thing.

“Trust me, President John Dramni Mahama will need Avram Grant blue stripes “lucky” polo T-shirt to win the 2016 elections for messing up. If not, he will pay bitterly for the pains and hardship he has brought on Ghanaians,” he said.
