Kofi Adams Is Speaking The Way Lazy People Usually Do... - John Boadu

National Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has described the argument of his colleague National Organizer for the ruling NDC, Kofi Adams, as a lazy approach for apportioning blame over the latter's failure to resolve the erratic power supply.

Kofi Adams, slammed the opposition party, by asking them to zip up since the NPP has no moral right to castigate the ruling party over the current energy crisis being faced by Ghanaians.

Speaking on Okay FM, he indicted the NPP for doing nothing of significance to improve the energy sector when the party was in power for eight (8) years; except perhaps, to introduce wrong measures which further crippled the sector.

They are only making noise because they don’t have any alternative solution to the energy crisis…….what we are doing today if they had done that and not imported the toys they considered as machines to augment the energy situation during their tenure, we would not be in the problem we find ourselves in,” Kofi Adams said.

Reacting to Kofi Adams' assertions, the NPP's National Organiser stated on Oman Fm’s National Agenda programme, that his colleague on the other side of the political divide was pontificating in a way "only lazy people do when they cannot accomplish their set objectives".

He demanded to know from Kofi Adams how many megawatts of power the PNDC/NDC added to the national grid in the 19years they have ruled the country.

Kofi Adams is speaking the minds of lazy people when they cannot accomplish their projects; he is making a lazy maqn's argument because PNDC/NDC was in power for 19 years. What research did he conduct when the NDC was leaving office for him to claim that the NPP did not add any megawatt of significant value to the national grid? If the research he did is proper and viable, why doesn't he add up their 6 years in power to his assessment to know what NDC has done since they took over power from NPP?” he charged.

He however underscored that it was the NPP that discovered oil in commercial quantity, making the existence of the West African Gas Pipeline relevant; insisting if the NPP had not discovered oil in commercial quantity, NDC would not have commissioned the Atuabo Gas Plant.
