PHOTOS: School Children Join Wↄn Gbo Demo With A Placard Kufour Forgive Us

The New Patriotic Party's [NPP's] massive “Wↄn Gbo” demonstration has been recorded by many as one of Ghana’s most attended protest ever against a ruling government.

Among the millions of Ghanaians who partook in the “Dumsor Dumsor” demonstration were handful of school children.

The frustrated pupils joined the sit-down to express their anger with the Mahama-led administration for their failure to resolve the country’s everlasting power crisis after the president's several promises to resolve the situation.

However, the school children for some reason known to them beseeched Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour to forgive them.

Perhaps they might be asking forgiveness from Mr. Kufour for the wrong choice their parents took to vote back the NDC into power.

“Kufour forgive us” the children's placard read.

The protest march, according to the opposition, was aimed at forcing government to sit up and solve the myriad of challenges facing the country, especially the worsening power crisis.
