Over the weekend, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, undertook his third political expedition of flooding Ghana with campaign posters of Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

He was in Hannah Bissiw’s constituency Tano South, to grace a Youth Rally which was organized by a youth wing of the NPP.

Mr. Antwi- Boasiko seized the opportunity to embark on his political mission of convincing electorates in the area to vote for the NPP in 2016.

He also distributed posters to people who willfully requested for it and was delighted with the response he had.  Some electorates he interacted with at market places pledged to be the first to vote for Nana Akufo should elections be organized in 2016.

Others made it clear that they were not only going to vote for Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia but would hand over power to the candidate the party presents as its parliamentary candidate in the area.

Words can’t describe the excitement one woman had when Chairman ‘Wontumi’ gave her a poster to keep. She kissed the portrait and promised to pay back the party by voting for them.  The pleasure was not only limited to adults who have registered as voters; there were children lurking around who also requested for the posters. The children revealed to Mr. Antwi-Boasiako that they would encourage their family members to vote for the NPP in the coming elections.
