Manhyia Orders Kotoko To Reinstate Coach Didi Dramani

Information reaching Ghanaspsportonline.com indicates that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has ordered the board of Asante Kotoko to reinstate Coach Didi Dramani as head coach of the Club. The Porcipine Warriors had asked coach Dramani to proceed on an accumulated leave which was believed to be the imminent sacking of the former Black Maidens coach. Dramani who had just four months left on his contract was asked to go on leave following the teams recent poor performance in the first capital plus Premier League. The Ghanaian tactician was not in the dugout for the team in their 0-0 stalemate with WAFA on Sunday at the Babayara Sports Stadium. It has been alleged in the past few days that Kotoko are bent on bringing in former Hearts of Oak trainer David Duncan to take up the top job at the Club. But information coming from Kumasi indicates that the life patron of the Club, Otumfuo Oseitutu II has ordered the team to rescind their decision by recalling Dramani to resume his post. The Asante Kotoko board is said to have been in division since the supposed dismissal of Coach Didi Dramani leading to some board members of the board allegedly resigning from their duties at the Club. The decision from Menhyia could see Dramani taking up his job as coach of the side in the coming days. Didi has been regarded as one of the outstanding coaches on the local scene having guided Kotoko to clinch two Premier League titles and one FA Cup trophy.
