Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has taken a swipe at those denigrating the ideas and ideals of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

He said “those who continue to denigrate the ideas of Nkrumah are kicking their bare foot against rocks”.

Speaking at a forum to mark the 49 years since the overthrow of Nkrumah under the auspices of the Socialist Forum in Accra, Kwesi Pratt noted that the “only pain the detractors continue to create will be in their own legs”.

The Insight editor indicated that the machinations to wipe out Nkrumah’s ideas have rather made the Nkrumahist movement more resolute. Kwesi Pratt stated that the more they work to denigrate Nkrumah, the more resolute they become to spread the ideals and ideas of Kwame Nkrumah because they are liberating ideas.

“Nkrumah never dies; attempting to turn the history of this country upside down will not work” he stressed.

Kwesi Pratt called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to help to revive the ideas of Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
