Real Motive Behind Ayariga Reshuffle Revealed

It is now clear that certain political appointees and gurus of the ruling party who should be protecting the interest of President John Dramani Mahama are rather the ones not allowing the cool-headed President to have his peace of mind and work.

Those characters are always pursing ways of bringing the President’s name into disrepute by associating him with their sinister game plans.

Monday, this week, at about midday, certain persons with sinister motives were able to poison the atmosphere with a news item that the current Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Mahama Ayariga, was likely to be fired from his ministry and reassigned to the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation.

Craftily, the agenda setters succeeded in getting Starr FM, an Accra-based radio station, into their dirty game and the story was outsourced to ghanaweb.

The Enquirer, as usual, has gone behind the scene and has been able to unearth the real motive behind the untruth that was able to get credence from Starr Fm.

It has emerging that certain figures are not too comfortable with the stand of the current Environment Minister on how deadly and hazardous Ammonium Nitrate were imported, transported and stored at the Takoradi Air Force Base. The minister has vowed to make sure that all issues pertaining to the Ammonium Nitrate are properly addressed, as the situation could have led to serious problems, especially as it was being stored within a military installation.

Elsewhere, handling of Ammonium Nitrate involves top security agencies to ensure safety.

The Enquirer has adhered that some top shots within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have strong interest in the Ammonium Nitrate deal and have vowed to scuttle the moves by the minister to make sure things are done correctly.

In fact, it has turned out that those NDC top shots were the very persons to hit town with the untruth about impending reshuffle that would see Mr. Ayariga taking over from the current minister at the Environment Ministry.

The Enquirer has gathered those pursuing the heinous agenda were to engage some groups and persons to hit town that such change which only existed in their minds was good. What is amazing is the fact that reshuffles rest in the bosom of one person, president Mahama, and nobody else.

When the issue of The Ammonium Nitrate broke, the minister travelled to Takoradi to have firsthand information about the situation.

Apart from that, he visited certain areas that the hazardous chemical was used.

At the center of the whole Ammonium Nitrate issue is a company called STELLA. It was the very company that was storing its consignment at the Air force Base in Takoradi.

The issue about how permit was granted to the company still remains a mystery.

Three ministers, Defense, interior and Environment, are likely to appear questions relating to the dangerous chemical.

Already, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Manhyia South in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, aka Napo, has waded deep in the issue on the Ammonium Nitrate.

The Enquirer has it that he has even filed for an emergency question to be asked about the dangerous chemical.
