This NDC Foolishness Must Stop... I Can Also Taunt Mahama With Photoshop Images

Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has threatened to teach the National Democratic Congress a bitter lesson if the ruling party does not desist from publishing doctored images of Nana Akufo-Addo.

The flagbearer for the NPP together with his vice, Dr. Bawumia, were in Parliament yesterday to listen to President Mahama as he addressed the nation.

But the Herald Newspaper chose to ridicule him on their front-page by publishing three images of him with caption ‘Akufo-Addo Sleeps In Parliament...As Mahama Dazzles Nation’. The Daily Post Newspaper also carried "Ahhh! Olu abre...as Akufo Addo sleeps soundly this time during State of the Nation Address" on its frontpage.

The “doctored” images, has spiked Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako and he has promised to reply in equal measure if President Mahama does not call his party members to order. He pledged to fulfil this promise if the pro-NDC newspapers would take his threat lightly and think they are the “chief photoshop editors”.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Boasiko who is popularly known as Chairman ‘Wontumi’ revealed that if he should drop his first photoshop missile on President Mahama, the entire NDC party would come down crushing and beg for mercy.

If they sit in their offices and think they are the chief master photoshop editors, then I want to alert them that they are dumb. If they won’t respect Nana Akufo Addo and continue doctoring images of him to run him down, I would do the same thing to President Mahama and they would see how foolish they will become. This NDC foolishness must stop”, he angrily said.

Two years ago, the Bureau for National Investigations (BNI) was quick like lightning to effect the arrest of an NPP Constituency Chairman over a doctored photo of President John Mahama.

Michael Omari Wadie, a constituency Chairman for the NPP in Ayawaso-West Wuogon, was arrested by the BNI at the Kotoka International Airport on 27th May, 2013, for allegedly circulating doctored nude pictures of President Mahama on Facebook.
