Businessman Spends 10,000 To Hire Private Eye To Find Out Who Shot His Daughters Cat

A businessman spent £10,000 trying to find out who killed his daughter's pet kitten after police 'failed to investigate' the crime.

Neil Tregarthen from Truro, Cornwall, hired a private investigator after his daughter's cat Farah was shot with an air rifle near her student flat in Exeter.

The 56-year-old has slammed 'impotent' local police who he claims did 'nothing' when asked to find the animal's killer in the first place.
