VIDEO: Minister Samuel Sarpong's Last Words Before He Got Fired

Looking disgruntled before UTV’s camera, former Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr. Samuel K. Sarpong, had some last words to offer before President Mahama terminated his appointment.

Following the fracas which broke between some NDC members and their party executives, the former minister was at the party’s head office to put the matter under control.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Sarpong stated that “their main concern is that when they come to party office, we drive them away. If that is the case, then we must put a stop to it. As a leader of a party, your role is to be a unifier and not the opposite. I am sure after meeting you, the regional executives of the party would also meet you and offer more briefing”.

However, hours after making this soothing appeal, President Mahama fired him together with his deputy, Mr. Joseph Yammin.
