Close friends of the late Fennec Kwame Okyere gathered on Friday March 13, 2015 at Afrikiko leisure center to mark one year of the brutal murder of their dear friend.

Led by Rapper Kwaw Kese, the group made up of mostly media men and close friends to Fennec�from the entertainment industry in a solemn candle light vigil with each of them lighting a candle to remember the life of Fennec and their individual experiences with him and basically to remind the Ghana Police to speed up their investigations and at least come up with some findings on his murder.�

Some of the notable faces present included; Kwaw Kese, new manager for Kwaw Kese Kevin Aggrey, Broadcaster and entrepreneur Bolaray, Lexis Bill of Joy FM, Actor and Broadcaster Mikky Osei Berko, Music Producer and Sound engineer Panji Annof, Producer Hammer of The Last Two, Radio and TV Presenter Afia Schwarzenegger, TV Host Babie Dapaah, Ohemaa Woyege of Adom FM, Entertainment Writers Eugene Osafo-Nkansah of Peacefmonline.com and Dela Aglanu of Myjoyonline.com, Jerry Justice of Adom FM among others.

According to family of the Fennec Okyere, the real one year anniversary of the passing of their beloved will held exactly a year of his burial which falls on April 26, 2015, when family, friends and sympathizers would officially gather to mark one year of his death.
