Vice Pres. Urges NDC Japan Branch To Support Party

President, Mr. K.B. Amissah-Arthur, has called on the Japan branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to increase their level of political activism and also build closer relations with the party back home.

Mr Amissah-Arthur made the call when he met with the executives of the NDC’s Japan branch in Tokyo on Sunday.

The Vice President, who is attending the third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, Japan, explained recent developments in the country as well as within the NDC to the gathering.

He particularly touched on the economy and the current energy situation, and outlined the government’s interventions in addressing them.

The chairman of the Japan branch of NDC, Mr Emmanuel Dzeamesi-Kudaya, thanked the Vice President for the meeting and assured the party of their unflinching support and commitment to see it.
