Wontumi Blesses Northern Region With 2,000 Set Of School Uniforms (Photos)
Despite being in opposition, the New Patriotic Party continues to shower freebies to students as part of their social intervention programme.
Led by their Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the party has distributed 2,000 sets of school uniforms to students in Sabonjida in the Northern Region.
In an interview with Mr. Antwi-Boasiako, he informed Peacefmonline.com that the idea to bless the children with the uniforms is to ensure that material things don’t prevent any child from experiencing basic education in Ghana.
Together with the Northern Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP, Alhaji Rashid, and the Women’s Organizer, Hajia Amama, Mr. Antwi-Boasiako gave away the uniforms together with shoes.
