Augustine Arhinful Rubbishes Alleged Conflict Between Sellas Tetteh and Osei Parma

Management member of the Black Satellites committee Augustine Arhinful has rebuffed report of conflicts between head coach Sellas Tetteh and management chairman Winfred Osei Parma.

Reports were rife that the two were involved in squabbles during the Black Satellites participation at the 2015 Africa Youth Championships in Senegal.

Several reports indicated that there had been series of misunderstanding between the two parties over player selections for various matches, a report which was denied by Osei Parma on the team’s return from Senegal.

Augustine Ahinful, former Black Stars player now member of the management committee of Ghana’s U20 team has rubbished the said reports indicating such rumor is a hatched plan by some Journalist.

“Some Journalist I believe planned such stories. They turn to fabricate such stories and discuss it on radio,” he told Takoradi-based Sky Power Fm in an interview.

“All those reports on the various website and radio were not true. Parma and I are the only new members of the management of the U20, Parma the Chairman and me a member.”

“I don’t know where Parma had a conflict with Sellas Tetteh. There hasn’t been something of that sort.”

“I think even if such think was going on, journalist should rather investigate and investigate it well”

The Black Satellites won bronze at the just ended Africa Youth Championships in Senegal after beating Mali 3-1 in the 3rd place match.
