Kwaw Kese Will Become A Prophet - Gospel Musician Joyce Blessing Prophesys

Gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing, has prophesied that hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, would soon be a prophet since he has the calling of God on his life.

According to the Nyame Aguaama singer who made the revelation to Showbiz in an interview yesterday, she has had many visions about the Abodam man concerning his future work in God’s kingdom as a prophet.

“I know many people would be surprised about this news but the truth is that, God works in mysterious ways beyond our understanding as humans. We can never understand his ways.
“Were we not in this country when the likes of Lord Kenya and Ofori Amponsah became born again and repented of their old ways?

“Who ever thought that the Lord Kenya we all knew would become a true man of God and preach the gospel? the award-winning artiste queried.

Citing biblical cases to buttress her point, Joyce Blessing narrated the story of Saul who was against Christians but when he was called by God, he became a powerful prophet in his time.

For her, it is not new for God to use the likes of Kwaw Kese to win more souls for Christiandom remarking, “If Saul, who was an antichrist and killed God’s people could change and be a great preacher, Kwaw Kese is not beyond that,” she stated.

Surprisingly, Joyce Blessing confessed to Showbiz that she hasn’t communicated her vision to the For the Popping rapper all this time but hopes to do that soon.
“The truth is that, I have not told Kwaw Kese about this vision. I don’t even have his phone number but I hope to do so very soon,” she revealed.

Apart from her vision, Joyce Blessing told Showbiz that she has always admired the “King of the Streets” for his talent and even plans of featuring him on her new album.
She discounted the perception held by a section of the public that gospel artistes should not have a “working relationship” with those from the secular side because they are on different missions.

The artiste, who is also known for her song, Monko Mo Akyi, described such comments as discriminatory and one that breeds disunity.

“How do we win them over when you push them away with our ‘holy’ lifestyles? Besides, our Saviour Jesus whom we all emulate related well with prostitutes like Mary Magdalene. We all know about that story so how much more we human beings who are fallible.

“We are not perfect so we can’t judge by telling who is righteous or not. I believe our collaboration will be the first step to bring that important change in his life,” she stated.
Joyce Blessing is currently one of the big names on the gospel music scene. Her third album, Heavy Prize which she released in 2013 shot her to fame and earned her the Best Gospel Album at last year’s Ghana Music Awards.

But the Unbreakable singer says that her success hasn’t come on a silver platter since she has been “underground” for over a decade before her break through.

That, she attributed to how gospel artistes struggle with fundings to get their works out in the public domain.

“If you don’t get a management that understands your field and what it entails, it is difficult to shine,” she said.
