Certain regalia belonging to the chief of Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region have gone missing from a store house of the chief.

The regalia is said to have gone missing during last weekend.

The Mamponghene who is the second in rank to the Asantehene in the Ashanti Kingdom sits on a silver stool while the Asantehene sits on a golden stool.

Dassabere Osei Bonsu II has so far not commented on the missing regalia which Adom News understands contain various ornaments.

Kwasi Oppong of Mighty FM reported that the incident occured on Saturday Night.

The police, he said was leading a wild hunt for recovery of the missing regalia which values much.
