Vodafone Ghana as part of its commitment to constantly engage and reward its customers for their loyalty, has honoured 100 loyal Vodafone X customers with free buffet lunch at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Kumasi.

Expressing her excitement, one of the beneficiaries, Marian Issah - Agyeman, a student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST), said, “l am excited to be a Vodafone X customer;  l am really having fun and enjoying good food.

I really like the idea of free data because I am able watch a lot of series and I am able to do my downloads. I would like to commend Vodafone for introducing Vodafone X.”

Terry Thompson, a Vodafone X member and student of the University of Ghana, said, “Vodafone X is a really cool youth - oriented platform that continue to surprise me with all the great experiences; the parties, the movies and the free buffet. I subscribed to the X’treme monthly offer which allows me free access to my favourite social media networks even after exhausting my bundle.

Vodafone X was launched last year September to encourage self-expression among the Ghanaian youth and connect them to topics and issues such as music, fashion, health, entertainment among others, that matter to them most.

Vodafone X, after launch introduced daily, weekly and monthly packages that offer unparalleled voice and data allowances, double bonus on every recharge, free calls within the Vodafone X community and free access to selected social media platforms.

The Vodafone X packages include Quick Fix, a daily offer at Ghc 1 per day and X – Social, a 3-day offer at Ghc 2. There is also X- Weekly, a weekly offer at Ghc 5, X-Monthly, which is a monthly offer at Ghc 10 and X-treme, a monthly offer at Ghc 20

Ghanaian Youth between 15 -24 years can join Vodafone X by getting hold of one of the special Vodafone X SIM cards and existing Vodafone customers can dial *5888# to join.
