Christians Must Not Lose Faith In God

The Most Reverend Professor Daniel Yinkah-Sarfo, Primate and Anglican Metropolitan Archbishop of the Province of West Africa, has asked Ghanaians to remain hopeful and refuse to give in to cynicism despite the harsh economic conditions

He said it is important for everybody to recognise that poverty, chronic power outages and other problems facing the nation would not be there forever.

Archbishop Yinkah-Sarfo, who was delivering an Easter message in Kumasi, said: “In suffering let us have patience and humility, pray and trust that our problems would receive answers from the Almighty God.”

He said the “Holy Week” should inspire Christians that “all is not lost - life is not hopelessly hopeless as they may think”.

He admonished them to continue “to walk graciously, humbly, thankfully and gratefully through this Holy Week and beyond” and work hard to spread the gospel.

Archbishop Yinkah-Sarfo spoke of the need for people to let Christ’s death on the cross aid them to live in peace and genuine reconciliation.
