Perform Or Get Booted Out - Nduom Warns Politicians

The Founder of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has warned politicians to give off their best in office if they wish to retain the confidence and support of the people.

“No seat is reserved for anyone. If you perform well, you can hope to be returned to office; if you perform poorly, you do not deserve the people's confidence.

Our people are beginning to understand the fact that "you get what you vote for", he said.

Dr Nduom said with Ghanaians going to the polls next year, he was hopeful that they would make the right choice.

“Next year, Ghanaians will have an opportunity to choose a president. Let us hope that they will choose a competent, incorruptible leader over those who feel "entitled",” he said.

Dr Nduom shared the comments on Facebook Thursday when he congratulated the winner of the presidential elections in Nigeria, Major General (rtd) Muhammadu Buhari.

“We salute the fortitude and forbearance of Nigerians. The citizens of Africa's most populous nation and biggest economy have done well by making the elections mostly peaceful. Most importantly, the will of the people has prevailed. The results have been accepted,” he said.
