More Big Boys Contesting NPP Primaries, TV Africa's A.C. Ohene On?

Credible information reaching Peacefmonline indicates that one of Ghana's senior Journalists Christian Ohene Amoadu aka AC Ohene the host of TV Africa's Newspaper Review is the newest to join the train to contest the opposition New Patriotic Party.

Deep-throat source close to the Editor for several years also pointed out that if confirmed AC Ohene will be contesting at the Suhum constituency.

Peacefmonline has learnt that the senior Journalist is at the edge of accepting to contest the seat due to pressure and consultation from some gurus of the party especially from the constituency, regional as well as she youth groups in Suhum.

When finally accepted AC Ohene will be amongst the like of Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Ken Kurankye and others who will he contesting for the NPP.

When Peacefmonline spoke to some NPP Executive who pleaded anonymous for now, said " we are happy and can't wait he is intelligent and humble we have known him here at suhum" another says "oh all need is someone stronger, acceptable by the voters, because we need a change, our numbers keep going down"

This is rumoured at Suhum that it is sending "fear and panic" and skins are shivering due to the fact that AC Ohene has always turned the party down by not contesting even when party bigwigs impressed upon him to represent them.

Peacefmonline wonders whether AC Ohene is a card bearing member of the NPP due to that fact that people perceived him to be "biased" in his presentation against the NPP.

Has he any qualms with the NDC, which he is seemed more to be in love with to take this decision? More soon!

AC Ohene who is a seasoned broadcaster, an editor, a teacher and a motivational speakers was one time an editor of the Chronicles News Papar, Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalist Association, formerly with the state owned GBC.

He won the Journalist of the year ( best in rural reporting) in 1999 and 2002 and holds Executive MBA in Governance and Leadership from GIMPA.

An ex Assemblyman at Suhum comes with a lot of experiences as far as leadership is concerned.
