Former Kotoko CEO K.K Sarpong Summons Otumfuo To Court

Former Board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. K.K Sarpong is reported to have sent the life Patron and owner of the Club Otumfour Osei Tutu II to court for owing him an amount of five hundred and thirty-six thousand, two hundred and forty-seven Ghana cedis [GHC 536,247.00].
 
The ex- Kotoko CEO is said to have summoned his Royal Highness Otumfour Osei Tutu II to the Kumasi High Court.

According to the business tycoon, Otumfour, bankroller of the Porcupine Warriors failed to pay him the said amount which was due him after serving as the Executive Board Chairman of the club from 2011-2013.

A report issued by lawyers of the plaintiff indicates that the board of the Club had agreed with their former CEO to run the Club with his money which would be refunded with a 15% interest.

Dr. Sarpong has therefore decided to summon Otumfour who is the owner of the Club to court on the reason of the Club’s failure to fulfill its part of the agreement.
