NPP Seriously Looking For Their Twin In Corruption - Kofi Adams

National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has attributed the hardship that has bedeviled the nation to the woes of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Citing corruption and the erratic power supply as the major cause of problems crippling the economy, Kofi Adams blamed the NPP for being the root of all the problems in the country during their regime.

On whether the NDC must be blamed for the difficulties the country was experiencing, Mr. Adams stated that “I doubt any sincere person can say that the suffering we are going through today is an act committed solely by the NDC.”

“NPP are talking as though they did something about the 'dumsor' when they were in power. They created a whole lot of mess and so we need to take our time and solve it as the president initially mentioned.

“NPP is number one when it comes to corruption, so they should stop drawing us into that act. In fact, they are seriously looking for their twin brother to walk with but it is unfortunate that the NDC can’t be their twin brother when it comes to their poor system,” he bemoaned on Okay FM’s morning show on Wednesday.

According to him, the NDC is determined to start somewhere in order to help build a better Ghana the party has set for itself, adding that his government frowns on the act of corrupt practices and thus, ready to curb the menace.

But in a rebuttal, the National Organizer of NPP, John Boadu rubbished the claims by the NDC national organizer saying “The NDC government does not have anything better to offer Ghanaians amidst the hardship the citizens are going through. Companies are collapsing. We just pray that it will not get worse,” he insisted.
