LISTEN UP: Sarkodie Blasts Politicians and Blame Ghanaians In New Single The Masses (Inflation Part 2)

Award winning Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie has released yet another ‘say it as it is’ new single titled “The Masses” (Inflation Part 2) as a follow up to his controversial song “Inflation”.

With a hard hitting Hip-hop beat Sarkodie started his Rap expressing his fear of being murdered in cold blood for speaking the truth but he also stressed that he has no choice because he is not happy with the state our beloved country currently.

The “Burger” Rapper mentioned hypocrisy and the general timidity of Ghanaians as some of the many reasons why Politicians take us for a ride and throw dust into our eyes in the media.

He questioned the way Ghanaians select our leaders and how Ghanaian vote ignorantly on tribal lines like Ashantis’ voting for Nana Akufo Addo while the people of the North voting for John Mahama regardless of their competence.

Sarkodie emphasized his disappointment in politicians hitting them hard for knowing what is good for the country and yet they wallow in corruption at the expense of the masses. He questioned why Ghanaian politicians travel all around the world and they see all the nice infrastructure and great policies in other countries but they blatantly refuse to implement those policies in Ghana comparing Kotoka International Airport to that of other countries.

He mentioned that in Ghana people don’t like you because you speak the truth commending the likes of Kwaku Baako and Kennedy Agyapong for the boldness among others.
