Banker Picks Nomination To Contest Parliamentary Primary

A 41- year-old banker, Mr. Christian Osei-Bonsu, has picked a nomination form to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primary in the Atwima-Mponua Constituency of the Ashanti Region.

He is challenging Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), for the seat, which the latter has safely held for 12 years running.

Mr. Osei-Bonsu, General Manager of the Amanano Rural Bank, is campaigning on education, health and agriculture.

He said he would work to unite the party and strengthen its structures for smooth operation.

He pledged clean campaign, and told the Ghana News Agency that he was confident that the delegates would give him their mandate.
