What Is P. C. Appiah Ofori�s Fate In NPP?

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon Kyei-Mensah Bonsu has dismissed allegations that the NPP executives have decided to kick the NPP MP for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, Hon. P.C. Appiah-Ofori out of the Party. This controversy came following allegations made by Hon. Appiah Ofori on Peace FM that the NPP MP�s who voted in favour of the GT-Vodafone deal took $5000 bribe each from the former chief of staff, Mr. Kojo Mpiani. Speaking on Peace FM�s Kokrokoo Morning Show, the minority leader revealed that all those whose names came across as having received the $5000, denied the allegation. The minority leader expressed his disappointment in Hon. Appiah Ofori for making such false allegations, stating �he is always trying to tell lies against his own Party to gain public attention�. According to him these lies from the MP have affected not only the NPP but the country as a whole because it led to the Minority boycotting Parliament yesterday. Explaining further, Hon Mensah Bonsu said an NDC MP for Sene, Hon. Twumasi Appiah insulted their personalities regarding on Hon. P.C. Appiah Ofori�s allegations. According to the minority leader, Hon. Twumasi made a statement on the floor of Parliament to the effect that the NPP MP�s of the last parliament misapplied Public funds by receiving an amount of $5000 each before voting in favour of the GT- Vodafone deal. He however, urged the general public to ignore Hon. P.C. Appaih Ofori�s allegations. Speaking on the same platform, the chairman of the NPP, Mr. Mac Manu said, they are setting up a committee from the MP�s Constituency and some party executives, to investigate the MP�s allegations very well, before they take any decision and punish him if it becomes necessary.
