Popular broadcast journalist and Drive Time host on Peace FM, Fiifi Banson, is set to launch a new sports channel -Platinum Sports - a 24-hour channel available on digital television which has been running test transmission for some time now. Some of the programmes to be aired on the channel include health sports, business sports, relationship sports, among others Fiifi Banson disclosed that Platinum Sports is being managed by F&B Group and it is the latest addition to the group. The digital sports channel which has attracted more viewers across the country, according to investigations, the station has so far been screening a mix of foreign and local content for its test transmission. Fiifi Banson in a chat disclosed that Platinum Sports TV would do a 24-hour sport programmes because of the company�s background, adding that it is not just a football station but a sport station to promote the local sporting discipline. According to him, his outfit is looking forward to working with various sports associations in the country and beyond. It would also sign on sport personalities to host most of its programmes. �We will make sure that we put together a solid package for Platinum Sports, quality sports presentation, quality studio work and quality productions. Those are the quotations we should have on Platinum Sports,� he added
