Murtala Mohammed Spews "Silly" & "Nasty" Stuffs On-Air Yet The Prez Acts Unconcerned!!!

Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan, has cautioned President John Dramani Mahama against treating his Ministers with kid gloves.

According to Kwamena Duncan, President John Mahama has consistently exhibited his soft side and allowed appointees who who glaringly err to still stay in office.

Alluding to the infamous "tweeaaa" incident, where the District Chief Executive of the Ahafo Ano South, Gabriel Barima, was reinstated after his public gaffe; Kwamena Duncan expressed worry over some decisions by the President regarding his appointees.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kwamena Duncan told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the attitude of the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Murtala Mohammed is increasingly "becoming unbecoming"; yet the President has failed to sanction him.

Hon. Murtala Mohammed reportedly accused a colleague Meber of Parliament of planning to unseat him and indicted Northern Chiefs of having their palms greased with “filthy, ill-gotten money.”

To Kwamena Duncan, the Deputy Minister, who is also the MP for Nantong is a man who could "speak silly, stupid and nasty (things) on-air. Can you just imagine that this is a person appointed by the president and is supposed to serve his constituents and Ghanaians? And he’s supposed to be an example to the youth?"

He wondered why President Mahama is acting unconcerned despite the fact that "this is completely unbecoming of a Deputy Minister.”
