Baba Jamal Banned From NPP Offices

First Vice Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region, Alhaji Umar Bodinga, has banned Akwatia MP Baba Jamal from entering any NPP office in the region.

Baba Jamal is the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia in the Eastern Region.

Mr. Bodinga’s ban follows the donation of computers and accesories as well as GH¢500 to the Akwatia NPP office by Mr Jamal, last week, sparking the fury of NPP members across the country, who saw it as an attempt to buy the conscience of the NPP executives in his constituency.

The Akwatia constituency executives of the NPP have since donated the items to an orphanage in the constituency.

Though Baba Jamal has expressed worry about the reaction of the NPP to his donation, Alhaji Bodinga believes the Akwatia MP has rather signed his defeat warrant in the upcoming elections.

"Baba Jamal should never try coming to our office again unless he has resigned from the NDC before he can join us as a party because his strategy was just to buy us into their party but it won’t work” he stated on Accra based Okay FM Friday.

"NPP is really working and so we are helping in our own ways to win the 2016 general elections and so they should prepare” he added.

"He has just given us the keys to defeat him."
