Police Suspect Foul Play In Death Of T Poly Lecturer

Pathologists are to conduct an autopsy on the body of a Takoradi Polytechnic lecturer who was suspected to have been murdered and dumped on the railway line.

The mutilated body of Seth Dogbe was found on a railway line over the weekend.

Earlier reports suggested he was killed by a train whilst crossing the railway line but police suspect foul play and that he was killed and the body was dumped there to be dismembered by a passing train.

The body has since been handed over to pathologists

His colleague lecturers at the Department of Applied Arts at the polytechnic have said they are devastated and deflated by the development.

They described him as a nice person to be with socially and that he was someone who was very meticulous with his work,  quit and withdrawn.

They said he was one of the finest water colour painters they have had in their generation.

One of the colleagues said he last saw him on Friday at the Applied Arts block on campus.
