French reports announced that Marseille striker Andre Ayew decided to move to AS Roma this summer . The Ghanaian player’s contract will expire by the end of this season and he refused to renew it with the French club.
Andre Ayew received many offers from European clubs especially in the English Premier League . The French magazine ” L’Equipe” said that the player chose to play with AS Roma given the fact that the Italian club will be present in the UEFA Champions League next season .
Other teams such as Inter Milan , Swansea , Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund have also expressed their interest to sign the Black Star . However , Ayew chose the club that will give him the opportunity to play in the best European competition .
