Mavis Nkansah Boadu shook the entire Afigya Sekyere East Constituency as she touched down in the area to announce to delegates her willingness to pursue her dream of becoming the next Member of Parliament.
She was met at the Kuamsi Airport by delegates and later visited several areas within the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency were she interacted with the people.
The aspiring New Patriotic Party legislator is expected to file her parliamentary forms at the party’s Regional Office tomorrow; but she was overwhelmed at the number of delegates who showed up to support her political ambition.
Close to four hundred and thirty (430) delegates were out to show her massive support. And her father, Nana Akwesi Boadu Nkansah, who is also the Chief of Nzema in the Ashanti Region, wasn’t left out as shook the township of Afigya Sekyere East.
Nana Akwesi Boadu Nkansah, a well known financier of the New Patriotic Party was described by delegates as a good man; and they promised to reward his good deeds by voting for his daughter against the current MP for the area, Hon. David Hennric Yeboah.
