NDC UK/Ireland Youth Salutes All Ghanaian Workers

We, the youth of the National Democratic Congress in the UK and Ireland wish to gladly salute all workers of Ghana on this day of Workers. We write to express our solidarity with those who toil day in and day out to keep this country a country of hope, equity, social justice and tolerance.

There is no substitute for hardwork. The respect gained by our country both home and abroad is a testament that your productive effort cannot go unnoticed. May we continue to work hard to make our country a better place for current and future generations. History will always be on the side of the hardwork we, as a people have contributed to making our country a place of envy of many other nations. The challenges of our times should be our strength and spur us on to even greater productivity levels.

Whether you are over-compensated or under-compensated, we believe your efforts contribute to the social good of Ghanaians. From our farms to factories; banks to businesses; and from alleyways to our airways you have all committed yourselves to building a Better Ghana.

As members of a social democratic party, we are eternally aware of our duty to stay loyal to the course of the worker and to pursue social justice with them. We are confident that the transformation agenda of our party in government today will yield that outcome for all.

Let us continue, in solidarity, as party in government and labour, steer our beloved country to a Better one. Together, in friendship, the NDC and hardworking Ghanaian men and women will transform the fortunes of all, not just a few, from Victory unto Victory.

Happy Workers Day

God bless our homeland Ghana.
