Sylvester Tetteh Files Nomination

Sylvester Tetteh, 2012 parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, has said that the mistakes the party committed in the last general election will not be repeated in 2016.

Popularly called Sly, he said he and the party executives, with their members, have mapped out effective strategies to beat the NDC to the seat.

Sylvester Tetteh told The Finder this moments after he had submitted his nomination form at Old Ningo, where he was surprisingly met with a jamboree of party faithful from the constituency.

He said, "I'm mature now in the body politics in Ningo-Prampram and I can confidently tell you that I'm claiming this seat for the NPP and Nana Addo in the next general elections. I can tell you that my research team has braced themselves for the tricks and wits the NDC dazed us with."

Sylvester Tetteh is going unopposed for the second time as the NPP's parliamentary candidate.

The NPP, he said, is ready to match and debate the NDC on achievements in the constituency, as, according to him, the NDC has nothing to show as legacy in the constituency.

Addo Emmanuel, Constituency Secretary, who received the forms on the behalf of the constituency chairman, Al-Latiff Amanor, expressed immense confidence in the nominee.

Addo Emmanuel told The Finder that the NPP has put its act together in the constituency "and so the NDC should start preparing their handing-over notes to Nana Addo, Sly and the NPP".

The NPP, he said, will correct the mess the NDC has created after they have been shown the exit through the ballot.

The NPP in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Addo Emmanuel concluded, is working hard to garner more votes for both Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and Sylvester Tetteh in the next general elections.
