Last Wednesday, Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Genfi, an aspiring member of parliament for the Suame constituency submitted his forms to the New Patriotic Party executives and is hopeful he would be cleared to contest the elections.

He was joined by some delegates and his presence drew an enthusiastic crowd to his side as he made his way to the party office to make his submission. Prior to this, close to 450 delegates and some traders joined him on the day he went to the NPP office to pick his nomination forms.

If Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Genfi successfully goes through the vetting process, he would be facing the current MP for Suame, Hon. Osei Mensah Bonsu, who is also the minority leader in parliament.
